Audition

Musical Theater and Commercial Acting are two areas where dancers can make good money and create a career, but few young dancers are prepared for these opportunities.

Our intensive trade school focuses on specific job markets. Broadway/musical theater, commercials, MTV, Tours, CruiseLines, Theme Parks, Las Vegas, Corporate events and more. Intense training is a must but specific audition techniques are even more important. Working choreographers, industry professionals, proven veteran performers and teachers are a part of our faculty every week.

TAPS dancers will learn

• How to pick up styles and steps more quickly.

• How to stand out in a group.

• How to create good body language.

• How to look, dress, speak and act at an audition.

• How to handle yourself when you don’t get the job and what questions to ask when you do GET THE JOB.

Our dancers don’t audition in a bubble as they do in college dance programs. Our dancers will audition for industry employers, Agents, Casting Directors and Artistic Directors.

When the time comes, we will be ready!
